*High Fidelity was chosen as the cover art for the 9th edition of the Dingo Australia Jazz Journal, published April 2025.*
High Fidelity is for music lovers; both the old school vinyl collectors, and the new generation of vinyl enthusiasts. I decided to use a natural linen canvas for this painting which adds to its vintage appeal.
Inspired by a gorgeous vintage 1965 Pye Industries Savoy TS3 radiogram, which is guaranteed to get your feet dancing and heart pumping!
The albums featured are some personal favourites, particularly the 1967 debut album by The Velvet Underground and Nico, with its iconic cover designed by Andy Warhol, combining music and art.
A 1970’s rocket floor lamp and record inspired wallpaper finish the interior off perfectly.
