The Preservation of a Future Past is a reflection of the rapidly changing architectural landscape of Brisbane, and the steady disappearance of modernist homes. Today, these homes are increasingly demolished in favour of apartments and generic block houses, without consideration of their historical significance. As many of these modernist homes become extinct, we are not simply changing the skyline - we are erasing chapters of Brisbane’s architectural legacy.
