A vintage mid century console record player circa 1950-60s in the shape of a grand piano was the inspiration for Sixties Spin.  It's such a gorgeous piece of furniture and I can only imagine it being the centrepiece of someone's living room decades ago.  With the hinged lid down, it would have worked beautifully as a small table, perhaps with a cocktail tray and glasses on top.  Then when you're ready to unwind, you just pop the lid up, drop some vinyl and get your groove on!
