The inspiration for this painting came from seeing the cutest vintage 1960's Fiat 500 in baby blue at a local Italian food festival.  It was love at first sight, and the cane basket suitcase perched on the rear luggage rack, topped it off perfectly.
 
I just had to paint her and chose Lake Como as the backdrop.  One of the loveliest lakes in Italy to visit.  The vista is just gorgeous, with the lake surrounded by mountains full of pine trees.  Imagine taking this cute Bambino on a road trip to Lake; a perfect Italian holiday.
